Thanksgiving Crafts

You can create this place mat on a 8.5x11 piece paper and glue on a
slightly larger piece of decorative paper or construction paper.Unfortunately
no template but you can easily recreate this on the computer.
Let each child color and draw their picture.
To protect it, laminate.

Create a Thanksgiving tree this year. You can find beautiful
branches in nature, then spray paint.  Set the branch in a vase with nuts
on the bottom or small rocks spray painted in golds, oranges and browns.
Or leave their natural color.
Attach the leaves to the tree with cotton yarn or use curly ornament
hangers. Leaf pattern can be found here. Everyone can add a leaf
of thanksgiving to the tree everyday. This is fun to do especially with kids!

Here are cute turkey cards kids can make and send
to friends and family near and far. Go here for a step by step.

This wild turkey can be created with things found in the nature and
in the kitchen. Let your or your children's imaginations fly and enjoy
the beautiful artwork resulting from it.

Enjoy!
