Stop aging in 24hrs

I told you previously that I have started to watch the Dr Oz shows. I picked up these handy tips a few weeks ago to help you stop aging in 24hrs. Ok, so it won't erase your wrinkles immediately but according to Dr Oz, will start helping your body in one day. Who doesn't want that?!

8:00 am

Mission #1 should you choose to accept it: Wipe out wrinkles.

How? By eliminating sugar. NOOOOOOOO!!! Yes my dears, sugar is only pretending to be your friend. There's nothing good about sugar, least of all the fact that it causes wrinkles. To find out how, read this article.

Take a GTF Chromium supplement. GTF Chromium is an important trace mineral that helps regulate sugar levels in your body. Some foods already contain GTF, like ripe tomatoes and broccoli, but to get enough, you must take a supplement. Recommended dose is 200mcg of GTF/ day. Make sure to check if your daily multivitamin already has it!

Mission #2 should you choose to accept it: Cut off cancer cells

How? Try eating some anti-cancer foods like the one here:

Anti-cancer salad
Papaya, chopped and bowlful
Blackberries, as many as you would like
Nutmeg, freshly grated and sprinkled on top of your salad

Mission #3 should you choose to accept it: Eliminate exhaustion

We're talking about cellular exhaustion, not the sleep kind. To read how this type of exhaustion happens, go here. How to beat it? Enter Astragalus, an ancient Chinese herb known to help rebuild genes. It also helps to reduce stress so it's a very useful supplement.

If you don't have time for exercise, you need to stand at least 10 minutes a day. This helps by rebuilding genes. I don't know how so I'm just going to have to go with the expertise of Dr Oz on this one.

Mission #4 should you choose to accept it: Defeat Dementia

Less plaque = less Dementia! To do this, you should follow an anti-inflammatory diet. You should NEVER eat any nitrates that are commonly found in heavily processed foods (meats and cheeses from the deli counter, hot dogs, sausage etc.). Sodium nitrates are BAD BAD BAD and to find out just how bad, go here. Hot dogs anyone??

Take an Acetyl-L-Carnitine & Alpha-Lipoic Acid supplement mix (i.e. both in 1 pill) to help fight memory loss. It also provides antioxidant protection to the brain.

10:00 pm

Mission #5 and final mission of the day: Go to bed!

Getting enough sleep is critical for young and old! Dr Oz suggests doing deep breathing exercises or meditating for about 5 minutes before your head hits the pillow. Go here to find out how to meditate.

So that's it in a nut shell. As always, please remember to do your own research before starting a new program or supplements. Some of us are on medications so any new supplements, although natural, should receive an ok from your doc.
