Low fat brownies

Is there such a thing as low fat, maybe even healthy brownies? YES! With this recipe you can make healthy low fat brownies. The recipe makes 8 x 8 pan and although I was disappointed at first that it only made that little, it really was enough.

One of the ingredients in this recipe is not common in a brownie mix. Don't be scared to try it anyway. The brownies passed the "picky toddler eater" test with flying colors. The recipe may sound weird, the batter may even look weird but push on, the end result is great!

Did I scare you yet? I hope not because here we go:

Preheat oven to 350F.

1 can Black beans, drained and rinsed (rinsing will remove extra sodium so don't forget to do it!)
3 Eggs
3 TBSP Oil (I used coconut for added health benefits)
4 TBSP Cocoa powder
1 TSP Vanilla
3/4 C Sugar, or any natural sweetener
A pinch of sea or Himalayan crystal salt

Puree the beans in a blender or food processor. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 pan and bake about 30min, or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cool and enjoy. I triple dog dare you to try them!

NOTE: They will be more moist than regular brownies but are very yummy!
