Snowmen cookies

This was a fun and fairly fast project too. The kids loved the cookies and had fun picking out the snowman face they were going to eat.

You'll need:
Sugar cookie dough
Big marshmallows
Royal icing
Oil (like olive) for fingers
Parchment paper or cooking spray

Make golf ball size balls out of the dough and flatten. They can be uneven so don't try to make the cookies perfectly round. Finger prints and indentations on the cookies don't matter. Bake on greased cookies sheets at 375F for 8-10min. You can also use parchment paper.

Spread royal icing on top of the cookies.

Microwave the marshmallows for 15-20 seconds on full power. Do not let them double in size. With oiled fingers, place the marshmallows on the cookies.

Decorate with Royal icing. I was too lazy to make different colors of icing but don't let that stop you. You can make scarves, bows, ties etc. that are different color for your snowmen.

These were a huge hit with the kids. They take a bit longer to make because of the decorating but it's fun to see the kids' faces when they see them.
